Brian is based on an an idea about a true story told to now famous and dead animator Dalt Wilmington. It was 1934 when Dalt drawed his first sketch of Brian on a napkin from the local pub. In 1940, Dalt took a photograph of the napkin which he later used to construct a sock puppet that resembled the photograph of the sketch of the idea. In the late 1960's Brian moved from the then dead industry of sock puppetry to the then thriving industry of marionette puppetry. In 1981, a claymation Brian starred in the Clash of The Argonauts, a feature film featuring a great clash involving angry argonauts. On his death bed, Dalt generated a computerized version of Brian who spent many years in the shadow of the hilarious and talented Max Headroom. Brian now exists as the the life-like computer generated character seen on "The Short Bus." Brian is most definitely the best actor on the show.
